Bright, golden, and packed with immune-boosting goodness—these shots are your daily dose of anti-inflammatory power in one small but mighty sip!

Ingredients

  • Fresh ginger – 6-8 inches (more if you want extra heat)

  • Fresh turmeric – 5-6 inches (or more for added potency)

  • Lemon juice – 3 large lemons

  • Fresh orange juice – 2 large oranges

  • Raw honey – 2-3 tablespoons (adjust to your sweetness preference)

  • Cayenne pepper – 1/2 to 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon (helps with turmeric absorption)

  • Filtered water – 4 cups

STEPS

  1. Prep the Roots: Peel the ginger and turmeric root, then chop them into smaller pieces to make blending easier.

  2. Blend It All Together: In a high-speed blender, combine the chopped ginger, turmeric, fresh lemon juice, orange juice, raw honey, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and filtered water. Blend until smooth and fully combined.

  3. Strain the Juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer, nut milk bag, or cheesecloth into a bowl or pitcher to separate the juice from the pulp. Use a spoon to gently press the pulp and extract as much liquid as possible.

  4. Pour and Store: Pour the juice into small glass or plastic shot containers (reusable little shot glasses work great for this). If you plan to make a larger batch for freezing, plastic bottles are recommended. When freezing, be sure to leave some space at the top of the bottle to prevent cracking when it expands.

  5. Refrigerate or Freeze: Store your shots in the fridge for up to a week or freeze them for longer storage. If freezing, keep a few in the fridge for easy access and replace with frozen shots as you use them.

How to Enjoy

  • Daily Boost: Take 1-2 shots in the morning on an empty stomach for best absorption.

  • Digestive Support: Drink before meals to aid digestion.

  • Immunity Kick: Feeling under the weather? Take an extra shot to help your body fight off illness.

Bonus Tip: Don’t throw away the pulp! You can freeze it and add it to hot tea, bone broth, soups, or stews for an extra immune-boosting kick. The pulp is packed with fiber and nutrients, making it a great addition to your meals.
